Community tournaments

Tournaments

Cup / Contenders

Vanta Cup and Vanta Contenders are self-hosted Discord tournaments used to live-demo the VANTA PC app, bring the community into development, and test the app under real tournament pressure.

Open community tournament

Vanta Cup

Open to all ranks and players in the community Discord. Vanta Cup supports up to 10 self-made teams, so players can enter with their chosen group of friends.

Ascendant+ competitive tournament

Vanta Contenders

A higher-skill tournament for Ascendant rank and above, capped at 4 teams. Teams are mixed each tournament to create competitive matches and stronger gameplay tests.

Why they exist

Live events that improve the app

The tournaments are not separate app products. They are the proving ground for the app: every bracket, mixed team, self-made team, match, Discord post, result, bug, and workaround teaches what should be automated next.

Vanta Cup

An open-rank community Discord tournament for up to 10 self-made teams, letting players compete with their chosen group of friends while the app runs the event.

Vanta Contenders

A more competitive Ascendant-and-above tournament capped at 4 teams, with teams mixed each tournament to create higher-skill matches and stronger app stress tests.

Live Development

Each tournament is part event and part test environment: the goal is to make future tournaments smoother, faster, and more automated.

How VANTA is used

The app runs the whole thing

Each tournament uses VANTA for setup, scheduling, map bans, agent bans, broadcast screens, team management, stats, results, and Discord/community updates.

Fresh tournament setup overlay
Auto or manual team building
Player rank and balance values
2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 team support
Optional map bans, agent bans, and side flip
Bracket reset and rebuild controls

Development loop

Run, learn, automate

The goal is to make every tournament more efficient than the last by turning real operator pain points into app improvements.

Community Demo

Discord members can watch, play, follow updates, and see the app improve through real tournament use.

Bug Discovery

Live matches reveal edge cases that are hard to find in private testing.

Efficiency Target

Repeated tasks from one event become automation goals for the next event.
